Case study →A living archive of Southeast Asian urban photography. Built like a magazine, read like a map.
Case study →Reading environment for long-form journalism. Two typefaces, one accent, nothing else.
Case study →I work at the intersection of editorial design and engineering — building websites the way a printer sets a page: with patience, restraint, and respect for the reader.
The practice began in 2019 with a borrowed laptop and a fascination for grid systems. Since then it has grown into a small independent studio of one, working with galleries, publications and founders who care about how things feel.
Most projects begin with typography and end with performance budgets. The two are never in conflict.
Away from the screen: film photography, second-hand bookshops, and long walks through cities that were never planned for walking.
Currently accepting a small number of commissions for 2027.
Tools change every season. The grid, the baseline, and the reader do not — so that is where the attention goes.
Design is not what fills the page.— Working principle, since 2019
It is what the page can afford to lose.
